Dear Eagle Fathful,

In just a few days the eagle brothers and sistahs will embark on what will be yet another season of hope. Hope that these birds do not phold like the Phillies. Fall like the Flyers. Self destruct like the sixers.

Fighting for Truth, Justice, and all that is right and good in the world. All this is, Eagles Football. A place where all can come together as one and fight against the wrongs caused in this world. Fight for a division where we shall not fear a Gint. Shall not wallow at the 4 skin. A place where we can all shout, as one voice, screw you pokes. Yes Eagles Faithful, that is the NFC East.

Do not despair at the many who have left the nest, for I present to you two shining examples of justice in the world. Mr Trotter has returned to fight each sunday. The other, you'll just have to wait as the Eagles Nations welcomes back their favorite son. As the voices ring out from heaven and say "welcome back"... yes those voice shall proclaim one single word to the world. That word, my friends, is HUUUUUUUUUGH! I shall raise a toast to you, my friend, come 1:15 sunday afternoon.

Those nasty Gints invade the proud town on Sunday. They shall be met by the welcoming call we all know as SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOKEY.

Big Red has loaded up for this, season of hope, setting at run at the ever hard to accomplish goal he has failed to reach. So join me in wishing him well on this journey. Actually folks, I'm interested to see how the O does out there... They have not played in 2 weeks. I dont recall fat ass playing them more than a 1/2 in any pre-season game.

Things might be choppy in the first 1/2.

So as it turned out, the offense looked quite fine. The defense....could be better, instead of allowing a 70-yard TD run, but at least that didn't happen until it was 31-10. Certainly a better start than last season!
