Who'd have thought the Lions would have a win before the Rams?

Steelers-Browns and Bill-Bears are both in OT. Lots of overtime already this year and it seems Biils and Bears have been in many of them!

Chiefs lit up Dolphins D. They may be a real playoff contender in Kansas City.

J-E-T-S Jets, S-U-C-K Suck!!! Anemic offense.
Josh
How about the Bills- another overtime and this one in their favour!

Anyone see any of the Houston game today? Wondering if there were any decent shots of Carr with his short sleeves rolled up showing off his biceps and sexy pits?

Pits? At a football game? They weren't playing in basketball jerseys!

Hey, we're all entitled to our obsessions, and in the person of Mr. Carr, you've picked a good one.

I went to a place in the Inner Harbor area that had the NFL Sunday Ticket so I could watch the Eagles. I got a late start so I didn't get there until 1:30 but it was nearly empty. Maybe because the Ravens weren't playing, maybe not. I didn't mind. I got a seat at the bar right in front of the TV showing the Eagles. Then they display the score....7-0, Houston!?!

Turns out the final was 35-17 but the Eagles were pretty sloppy in victory. (Not to mention that they didn't beat the 20-point spread like I said they would... ) It was 28-17 and the Texans then got the ball back on a fumble recovery in Eagles territory, but got stonewalled.

Two notes: Safety Brian Dawkins of the Eagles is the first player in NFL history to get all four of the following in the same game: an interception, a sack, a fumble recovery and...a touchdown pass (on a fake punt)...and thanks to the expansion Texans, the Eagles' Brian Mitchell and Troy Vincent became the first players in NFL history to play against 32 teams.

The only time I noticed Carr's arms, it appeared that only one of the sleeves was rolled up. No pit shots.

Oh...and I can't tell you how pleased I am that someone FINALLY beat Rodney Peete and Carolina!

Are the Redskins cursed?

They're 1-2 and struggling and the team with their fired head coach from last year is 4-0.

Yes. His name is Dan Snyder.

Okay, it's true that there haven't been any intradivisional games. And Denver still has to play on Monday night against the desperate Ravens. And KC's opening win over Cleveland was 99.9% undeserved (excessive celebration? throwing a helmet??).

But the AFC West is one awesome division.

12-2 with the last three unbeaten teams.

Handing the only losses so far to the Patriots, Dolphins, and 49ers.

However, all good things must come to an end. Even if Denver wins on MNF, they host San Diego next week.

Hopefully the Broncos can keep their heads on straight against the Ravens. Their next games: hosting San Diego, hosting the Dolphins, at KC, at New England, (bye), hosting Oakland. It's gonna be a war this year. Go Broncos!!

I've been a Viking fan a long time, but I've never seen such a bad team in Minnesota. This group makes the Les Steckel bunch look like Super Bowl contenders. I think it is quite possible this Viking team could go winless. Okay maybe I'm being a tad melodramatic, but I can easily see them finishing 2-14. The defense is atrocious and the offensive scheme doesn't work. Thank goodness I have the Twins, at least for a little while!

Thanks Joe-

David Carr is the only Q-Back I have watched that actually does roll his sleeves up pretty high so you can get a good look at his biceps and pits. To be frank, I think he does it on purpose and knows it drives us all nuts. Lol.
