Full Version: NFL MVP voting

I said last week I'd start this thread. With the season half finished, there are definitely some strong candidates. I think we should start with 5, and if the voting is close, we can expand to 7 or 10. Some rules: no ties and don't rank a player more than once for an individual week. Either e-mail me your votes or post on here. I'll post weekly results on Friday noon, PST.

With that said, here are my vote getters.

Week 8

1. Steve McNair
2. Randy Moss
3. Stephen Davis
4. Peyton Manning
5. Priest Holmes

with strong consideration to Shaun Alexander and Dante Hall.

As much as I love Priest, KC would do well without him because of the system. However, Air McNair is indispensable to his team, one with virtually no running game. He gets my vote.

I'm not sure I'll do this every week, but...

1. Steve McNair
2. Priest Holmes
3. Dante Hall
4. Jamal Lewis
5. Daunte Culpepper

Seems like the Heisman voting--no defensive players, no linemen. biggrin.gif

Is this the MVP list or a dream roll of hot NFL players to hook up with? biggrin.gif

I'd say I agree with all the choices (and yes to both questions!)

BTW, Mark Bulger and someone from the Patriots also would be on the MVP (not the other) list.
