I thought that the higher seed always wore the home team uniforms, however last night (FRIDAY) Maryland the #6 seed wore the away team uniform and UNC-Wilm wore the home uniforms and they were seeded #11. Does anybody know why? Please respond if you know! I couldn't hear the game, because I was at a bar, but nobody I asked had a clue as to why! (Actually nobody even noticed) BTW GR8 game possibly best of tourney!

I read in the paper that 3 of Maryland's home jerseys were stolen from a hotel room. That's why they had to make the switch.

I admit I wasn't too keen on the new unis when they first came out last year (I had only seen the red away-game version), but they've really grown on me since seeing the white home-game version. The ring of color on the v-neck and sleeves looks kinda cool.

Guess I'm not surprised they might become valuable collectors items since they are also reigning champs.
