During lulls in the game, TV cameras often focus on the A's bench, since it's known they have a team full or characters who usually do something camera-worthy. But lately the fun time on the bench has been, well...
About a month ago the famous kiss. When Barry Zito leaned over and kissed Tim Hudson on the mouth with Eric Karros (and presumably a lot of TV-watching A's fans) looking on.
Earlier this week, A's up big so Mark McLemore was relaxed, sitting comfortably on the bench with his arm around Bobby Crosby. And Bobby Crosby was leaning back comfortably against Mark McLemore. The announcer said they looked like they were home watching a move. Yep, they did indeed look like an affectionate couple watching a DVD/video together on the couch.
Speaking of which, I should have my VCR going to capture these magic moments since folks here probably won't believe me otherwise.
