Chairman of the Board of Directors Wendy Selig-Prieb and board member Michael Grebe made the announcement at Miller Park late Friday that the Brewers [will] begin a process to sell the club.
It's about time, eh?

Considering how the Seligs have managed the franchise, I have to agree.
The stadium lease keeps the new owner from moving the team, but I suppose everything has its price. frown

What a farce! I feel bad for the Milwaukee fans and the citizens of Wisconsin, who are saddled with the costs of Selig's stadium folly! What an *ss, he and his daughter! Maybe rich US Senator Herb Kohl will purchase the team and waste some of his fortune to make them a little more competitive. At this point it's easy to forget that this team once had the likes of Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Ted Sizemore, and a number of other great MLB players.

You mean Ted Simmons, not Ted Sizemore, right?

Maybe we should all pool our $ together and put in a bid for the team. How does Milwaukee Outsporters sound as a team name? wink Or we could be Milwaukee Cydjims or Jimcyds.

Yeah, Ted Simmons! He was a Cardinal once too.
