Hey:
We may have the ability to run an Outsports NCAA men's bracket pool and was wondering if people would be interested.

I would definitely be interested. College basketball is one of my favorite sports.

We've got one started on ESPN.com, but I'd play here too.

We will have one set up. Very easy to use and it is special to Outsports. You needn't register; all you do is pick a user name and give an e-mail address (not visible). We will have it up Sunday as soon as the brackets are announced.
George's ESPN pool is also cool, so play both!

Will there be a way to edit our picks before the games begin? I may have made my picks a tad too hastily! eek!

Here's the deal:
You CAN'T make changes once you submit (only Cyd and I can edit entries and we really don't want to have to do it); it was designed this way to make it easy to enter.
However, we can delete entires and I have deleted yours George so you can start fresh. If anyone else wants theirs deleted, let us know.

Okay, I've entered my picks and sneaked a peak at a few other entries. Looks like many of us are going with safe picks (I think my most outrageous pick was San Diego over Stanford), and every sheet I looked at had Kentucky going to the Final Four.

Okay, I've submitted my rather ill advised and certainly emotionally skewed picks. After doing all the research and rational thinking in years past only to pull my hair out losing to girls, I've decided to just root for the teams I like. So I figure I'll either win it all or finish dead last but I'll be chearing in good conscience.

Because I've never learned the "follow your first mind" strategy, I tend to vacillate when it comes to stuff like this so I'll wait and submit my bracket.

Is there anyway to follow the pool as the tourney unfolds? I don't see a link to it from the home page. Did I miss something?

We're putting leaderboard updates on the front.
There is also a link under the date on the front page.

Thanks Cyd. I figured it was there somewhere, but it was like one of those elusive sunday paper word searches that always make me feel so bad. Don't get me started on the word jumbles...

So who's doing well in this pool? I seem to be well behind. Of the 3 pools I'm in this one seems to be the worst for me, while the ESPN pool we have is my best. (I made my selections at different times for each and made some changes on each.)

I'm doing much better than expected! Woo Hoo!
Even though I didn't pick Butler to beat Oklahoma, I sure would like them to...that'd mean my alma mater Syracuse would be that much more likely to advance in the tourney...
Seems a lot of folks here picked OK to go pretty far, so it'd help me bump up the rankings in our pool here.
