Is it any surprise? According to ESPN.com, Commissioner Bud has manipulated the system so that his M'waukee Brewers get the biggest increase in revenue sharing money under the new labor agreement: Brewers, Pirates gain most under revenue-sharing plan

A sweetheart taxpayer-fleecing deal for a new stadium. Most profitable team in baseball in 2001, despite putting a stinker of a product on the field. Now, his team (oops, I'm sorry, his DAUGHTER's team) is the biggest welfare queens in baseball.

Why do 28 other owners put up with this guy? I'm with the Boss on the question of Ugly Bud.

Far be it from me to defend Selig in any way, but the ESPN article does NOT say he manipulated the system to benefit the Brewers. It only reports the figures.

And while the Brewers and Pirates will get the largest increases, the overall amounts they're getting still pale in comparison to what is being paid to the Expos, Twins and Marlins. They were already 1-2-3 in amounts received, and still are. The Brewers and Pirates were at the bottom of the list of receiving teams, and still are.
