Quietly and with no superstars, the Pittsburgh Panthers have clawed their way into the Top 10. They are the nation's best kept secret, thanks to very little national coverage and a history of choking under pressure. But this team is different! Other than Brandin Knight (the nation's second-best kept secret), the Panthers have no one in the top 10 in amy major statistical categories. Yet they keep winning. And with only one senior on the roster and no one ready to jump to the Pros...I can't wait until next year! But first, we'll just keep on pulling surprises this year. Let's go Pitt!

Congrats to Pitt for an amazing and awesome season this year which probably began with their unprobable run to the BE finals last year. Im a RU fan and of all the other conference teams I mind Pitt winning the least. Their fans dont have that "im so superior attitude" that the 80s BE juggernauts like Gtown/UConn/Syracuse/Villanova have. I dont know how they do it. They dont look like the most talented team on paper and they arent a good free throw shooting thats for sure but they play incredible defense. They are the only BE team to have come away with a win at the RAC. Im really looking forward to the upcoming Pitt-Rutgers game at Fitzgerald Fieldhouse. RU really needs revenge from the last game and to solidify their NCAA hopes. Pitt meanwhile is playing for a possible #2 seed and can work on clinching the BE west title. It should be a very interesting game.
