That was an entertaining game to watch, even though it cut into the first half of the UK-MSU game due to the overtime. Back and forth, some real cuties (Stepp is very nice to look at), and an extra five minutes to boot. I thought after Mizzou tied it up at the end of regulation with that three, they would carry the momentum and take it in OT. But hats off to the Zags.

Congrats, puckman. This sets up a showdown this Saturday between Gonzaga and Stanford at the Pete Newell Challenge in Oakland. (According to the Sportsline RPI, it's #2 Gonzaga v. #3 Stanford.)

Stanford beat a 5-1 UNLV team (who'd already defeated USC and Cal this season) by 15 WITHOUT Chris Hernandez (their starting point guard, out with back spasms) and Josh Childress (their All-Pac 10 6-8 forward, who has yet to play this season due to a stress reaction in his foot). Childress is out for the Gonzaga game (they're saving him for the Pac-10 season), but I expect Hernandez to play.

Should be a great game!
