I'm not an expert at the rules for women's games but can anyone tell me why:
- Nbr 4 seed Ohio State played lower Nbr 5 seed LaTech down in Louisiana ? Why does a lower seed get home court ?
- Now in sweet 16 Lsu plays Latech in California

because the first and second round sites are pre-determined. Ruston has a strong history of supporting women's basketball, so was picked as a first and second round site, long before the seeds were determined.
there has been movement to more neutral sites, as opposed to strictly home advantage for the lower seed. this is one step on the way to that, but ultimately, sites will be determined where the fan base is....
