Cutie pie Mike Modano will be the West Captain in the Allstar game to be played on Sunday. Also from Dallas will be Billy Guerin, and Marty Turco will be in reserve.

It makes perfect sense when you consider the season Mike "Bucky Beaver" Modano's having. I wonder how many times we'll hear about his attractiveness/coverboy good looks...Maybe Vegas has an over/under on it?? wink

Modano always looks good with that "C" on his jersey, kinda like his own scarlet letter for "Coverboy."

Let's just hope he makes it to the game, what with all the all-star injury drop-outs (Lemieux, Sundin, Belfour, Leetch, and Saku Koivu, who will be undergoing more radiation therapy this weekend). And it still seems strange to me that Joe Sakic won't be there, either. :confused:

Sorry to hear that Saku Koivu has to undergo more radiation treatments; I thought he had his lymphoma cancer beaten.

And speaking of Koivu, I think he's every bit as good-looking as Mike Modano, and surpasses his Canadiens teammate Jose Theodore, who everyone seems to rave about.

I can't get enough of this "heartthrob". I look for Dallas to go all the way this year.
