Three NHL players, in Europe during the lockout, were suspended for the rest of the season by Sweden's ice hockey federation after being accused of rape. Florida Panther Kristian Huselius and Andreas Lilja (he was a King, 2000-2002) and Buffalo Sabre Henrik Tallinder told police they had consensual sex with a 22-year-old woman in a hotel room after meeting her at a Stockholm bar. The woman told police she had been raped following a hospital examination. Authorities questioned and released the three, saying they didn't have enough evidence to charge them.
Interesting they would be suspended for the season even though no charges were filed.
