ESPN is giving us regional coverage this evening. We on the left coast will be able to see Dallas/Detroit--nice matchup. As the day prgresses, I'll decide whether to watch that game or head to Staples where the Kings and Ducks (who are playing great hockey of late) face off.

For east coast people, it's the caps/bruins game, which I'll be at! Look for me on TV!

Since I wasn't able to sneak out from work early, I'm going to Staples to see the Kings/Ducks--maybe the Ducks will get another shutout (they've had two in the past week...)

wel, Adam, i'm sure you're glad teh Ducks did't get a shut out, or even a win!
Meanwhile, the refs tried to give the Caps game to the bruins, but failed. I swear they wanted to. Some of the third period calls were just insanely bad.

The Kings/Ducks game was one of the most fun games I've been to, though not all that well-played. Kings played two strong periods and then almost gave the whole enchillada away with a questionable third period--the only solid one played by the Ducks. Bonus for me: Alex Frolov got his 7th goal and had some dazzling moves.

Hey Adam, I saw a replay of that Frolov goal - nice! He made the Anaheim defense look like a bunch of sitting Ducks. Actually, it kinda looked like Frolov was playing by himself out there, skating laps around a bunch of those little orange coney pylon thingies. Everyone else seemed to be standing around waiting to see if he would score. And so he did.
Come to think of it, I know of a few local defensemen who I'd gladly trade for a bunch of those little orange coney pylon thingies.
