Comcast has signed an exclusive deal to televise the game nationally on its many local sports and news channels. CN8 will carry the game in the Philadelphia region - Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. - and will produce the U.S. end of the broadcast, adding English graphics and announcers to the Russian TV feed.
Alexei Zhamnov, Vladimir Malakhov and Danny Markov will join a Team Russia squad that includes Ilya Kovalchuk, Pavel Bure, Pavel Datsyuk, Nikolai Khabibulin, and other NHL stars. Their opponent, Team World, will have a roster of Larionov's friends from the Detroit Red Wings and other teams, including Brendan Shanahan, Chris Chelios, Darren McCarty, Martin Brodeur and Scott Gomez. Scotty Bowman will coach Team World.
