The Rangers have to be reasonably happy over the fact that Mark Messier signed on for another year with the Rangers yesterday it was announced.

I guess Messier didn't want to leave the game with last season--injuries and all--being the final memories people have of him. I love when "old" guys teach the young'uns something....hope he has the sort of season he once had.

Yawn. Honestly, I think Messier may be a good leader, but he's way past his prime. I hope he just doesn't embarrass himself this year.
However, if he'd like to retire, I'd gladly share a hot tub with him.

Following the Ranger Stanley Cup season, Messier joked about his day with the Cup that he spent most of the day in a hot tub with Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon & the Cup.
