Wayne Gretzky will again serve as executive director of Team Canada for the Olympic Games in Turin. He had the same position for the team that won the gold medal in Salt Lake City. On a different subject, he was coy about the possibility of becoming coach of the Coyotes: "Well, I love being close to the game and being a coach would bring me closer to the ice."

If the NHL does send its players to the Olympics Team Canada will retain the same coaching staff from their Salt Lake Olympics and World Cup of Hockey teams.

Supposedly, the new CBA includes the provision to allow NHL players to go to the Olympics. At least that's what I've been hearing.
