Horrible news for the Rangers. Just when they were starting to show some signs of life again. My best wishes go out to Mike. I really like the guy, and I think he is the most talented American goalie in the game of hockey today. Nuff said.

that's not saying much, Puckman. There aren't a whole lot of them out there!
and I'm not surprised by Richter. He hasn't lasted a whole season in some time.

I was looking for an old thread and found this one...Mike Richter, of course, is now out for the season. With his other recent injuries, there's some speculation that he might just retire rather than try and come back next season. I don't recall Richter having a history of concussions. It's a little mind-boggling that he's sitting and Lindros is still playing.

Somewhere this past week, I heard people talking he may take it easy until next summer's tournament and play for the US.
