While getting ready this morning, I had one of the local news broadcasts on TV. A reporter was at the Anaheim Pond talking about the bandwagon for the Ducks. He said, "the ballgame starts tonight at 7:30." ARGH!!!!! I've accepted that TV reporters are dim bulbs & that this idiot probably used "ballgame" in a generic manner, but couldn't someone have suggested "they'll drop the puck at...." or even "the game starts at..."

Yep I am sure he was thinking Street Hockey where they drop the ball. biggrin.gif I have to chuckle every time I hear a sports announcer say "with 10 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter"
