Don't know, but sure looking forward to watching both games on ESPN-2 today, one coming up at 11:00 pdt, and the other on at 4:00pm, pdt today. Wow, televised hockey. Whats that??!!?? eek!

Really enjoying watching the Denver/Colorado College game. Fairly high level of play overall. Colorado College is digging their own grave though. They can't continue to take penalties. Now down 4-1 to Denver after two periods. Love, love, love the dasher cam, its like being on the ice when you get the view from it! Lets hope they add this to the NHL when it comes back. One more period to go, then another big game at 4:00pm. Woo-hoo!

I was home from work today and watched some of the game in between watching the Phillies debacle. Denver kept scoring on the power play and Colorado College kept wasting PP opportunities.

I sort of feel bad for whoever usually does the commentary for these games. Without the NHL, they used Thorne/Clement/Pang at the arena and (ugh) Barry Melrose in the studio between periods.

The Sioux/Minnesota game is awesome. Even higher quality than the first game today. Still love the dasher-cam.

Denver looks good for another championship.

Wow... both Denver and NDak looked good. Gotta love these title games between two old foes. Dave Hakstol has done a great job with the Fighting Sioux, considering they were floundering (that's a nice way to put it) three months ago. They are big, and they play aggressive defense (I love that). After watching these two play today, I'm going to have to go with NDak for the title. It will be their PP shutdown vs the PP offense of DU.

I would have to strongly favor North Dakota as well. For the reasons you mentioned, plus their goalie, Parise, is playing really well at the moment. They are such a big imposing team. They made Minnesota look not very good.

And whatt he hell was that suit Barry Melrose was wearing yesterday?? Was a production of "Guys & Dolls" being done at ESPN?

DU makes it 2 in a row.

This was a great game to watch. The Sioux were hitting and banging everything and anything that moved in the first period, but they kept taking stupid penalties, and Denver was just about deadly on the power play, and UND just could not recover. Its been great fun watching hockey on ESPN over the past 2-3 days and now I will miss it again, terribly.

What's with all the facial hair on DU's Hockey team. I mean there were plenty of hot guys - but they all had scaggly beards. Does that me they jointly didn;t shave and saved themselves (not like Barry Zito smile.gif smile.gif ) for the Championship.

Invite me please to their party when they arrive back in Denver.....

My Denver boys (The two time defending national champions) do INDEED "clean up well." Look for their photos with the President at the White House LAST YEAR for proof that they are both beautiful and talented.

WORD!

I was impressed by Denver and their progression this year. More difficult to get the engine started after a national championship victory. Think they can three-peat, or will the rest of the WCHA keep them down?

As far as the scruff look...come on it was the playoffs, everyone does it. Great tradition.

Union will go all the way next year! Well, probably not, I just like saying them because my brother is on the team. Yeah, Barry, told me face to face that he thinks his FROST BITE team would destroy Coloardo College, but seriously, I think Michigan might be back for a Title.
