As of today here are the standings so far for the Western Hockey League:
East Division:
Brandon
Saskatoon
Prince Albert
Regina
Moose Jaw
Central Division:
Medicine Hat
Calgary (not to shabby Marc!)
Red Deer
Lethbridge
Swift Current
B.C.
Kootenay
Vancouver
Kelowna
Prince George
Kamloops
U.S.
Portland
Seattle (tied for first)
Everett
Tri-City
Spokane
Notes: I was surprised to see Kamloops off to a rough start at the bottom of the B.C. Divison.
My Chiefs got thrashed by Vancouver last night 5-1. Tonight they are in Portland. I expect a much better effort. Go Chiefs! P.S. next update I will include point totals.

Well I am a thunderbirds fan. My little sis has season tickets. I can usually only handle a few games as she gets pretty rowdy at the games. I still would like to go up and see one of the Everett games and check out their ice....

Well, buddy, let me know when you want to go & we can meet up! The M&M boys hit Everett...I don't think they are ready for that!

OMG!! That was hilarious! I don't know that Everett could handle both of us.....

It sounds like a blast, I am knee deep in the middle of a big project through the end of the year, maybe after the holidays? I will need to keep it a secret from my sis or she will go ahead and invite herself....
Hey Puckman a 'bit rowdy' is being polite....

My Chiefs are off to a very slow start indeed. Since beating Kootenay at home last saturday night, they have lost to both Vancouver and last night Portland..nothing now till Tri-City.

Hey west side guys, I can't rule out the possibility of maybe taking in a game over there when Spokane is playing either Seattle or Everett there in the not to distant future. Would love to meet up with you guys.

That would be fun, Puckman! But you want to see the Silvertips in Everett not those Thunderbirds in overpriced Seattle wink

It would be interesting to see the Everett Event Center, and the fans there, espeically after their incredible run last year, but till then......GO CHIEFS!! I will keep my options open, and let you guys know, okay?

My Chiefs should get a pretty good idea of where they stand tonight as they are taking on first place Seattle here at the Arena. The T-Birds are flying, winning 4 straight games. Spokane is 5-5. Its Halloween Costume Night too. Lets Go Chiefs!!!

Since it's Halloween Costume Night, do fans in costume get in at reduced prices? A couple of seasons back, my Kings were at home on Halloween and gave any costumed attendee chits for free food at the concession stands--my niece (my guest that game) got free popcorn and coke out of it.

Nope, Adam, unfortunately they don't. Heck anyone that comes costumed should get in for half price as far as I am concerned. If so, I could afford to go tonight. I guess they will be giving away candy throughout the Arena.
