Tom Hicks, who paid A-Rod all that money, is looking to sell the Dallas Stars and the arena in which they play. I say, let's take up a collection for him....I have some lovely recipes for a bake sale.

I think A-Rod can afford to buy the Stars. Is he a hockey fan?

Don't know if A-Rod likes hockey, but when Hicks was trying to induce him to come to Texas (as if the money wasn't enough of an incentive) he had Mike Modano--whom I call Bucky Beaver--show him the town. Supposedly they became friends.
