I put put the Rangers up a couple of notches, but otherwise I would agree with your picks for that week.

Subjective question, depending on how you look at it: is this "who played the best last week" or an "if the play-offs started today..."-type scenario?

Either way, you can't leave out the NJ Devils! After their slow start, they've gone 8-1-1-0 in their last 10 games. Their 18 points appears low in the standings, but they've only played 14 games, compared to all other teams who've played anywhere from 16-20 games.

Otherwise, the Isles at #1 is too high, the Canes at #10 too low. The Canes have a solid veteran team that should take them a long way this year.

I love seeing the ChiHawks doing so well. They're still unbeaten at home and Jocelyn (Player of the Week) Thibault is making a whole lotta Vezina noize.

Carolina at 10? The Sens, heck even the Broons would beat'em 3 outta 5. The East is all about the Leafs and the Rangers right now.

In the West, Edmonton won't be #3 until Ryan Smyth comes back, Calgary is coming down to earth after an impossibly strong start, and the Hawks will only go as far as Thibault takes 'em. I'd love to see an Avs/Sharks/Oilers/Wings play-off.
