How many games is Piazza catching and how many is he at first base?
Sosa spends half of the first half of the season on the DL, the other half essentially stinking up the diamond, and he is one of the leaders in balloting? Typical.

It's been about 50/50 actually. Jason Phillips started last night and they has a graphic stating that it was his 20th start of the year at catcher. Vance Wilson has started a couple of games as well when Piazza was given a day off.

At least Nomar Garciaparra's no longer leading the vote at shortsop, as he was until last week.

Fox pushing their American Idol crap? Famous baseball icon Muhammad Ali? I'm psyched! No, wait, that's wrong. What I mean is, I'm sickened.
