Todays game at noon p.s.t is the Bruins vs. Chicago. Will the Bruins Team that eventually overhauled and outplayed the Islanders the other night show up, or will it be the Bruins Team that won 10 of 39 of recent games? Flip a coin...

All I can say is that it is tough as a Rangers fan to watch Boston or Long Island have several games in hand and pray for a meltdown. Based on the way Boston has played the past 3 games, I think the meltdown is going to have to happen on Long Island for the Rangers to squeeze into a #08 seed. A few weeks ago, I was just joking with a hockey friend of mine on the bus to work about how many games Ftorek had left. It's amazing how quickly things can change. This past week, I expected the Bruins to beat a terrible Carolina team. But they just squashed the Islanders. That is fine with me, though, because I think that Yashin is just a horrible person who held the city of Ottawa hostage for too long. With that said, Chicago is due for a strong performance, and Boston had a rough game last night. 3-1 Hawks.

With 2:40 left in the first period, it's a scoring field day!! 2-2, already.

This game is bizarre with a capital "B". Yet totally scintillating....its got it all!!! You want defense thats holier than swiss cheese? You got it...you wants fights....you got em..you want a penalty shot???...you got it...you want an improbably hat trick by Sullivan of the Hawks...its here...you want penalties not once but twice by Shields???...you got it, and its 5-3 Hawks with one whole period left! I am exhausted..but loving it!!! wink

Bruins --giving up 12 goals in less than 24 hours.
Their next game is at Ottawa. Looks like the Bruins and the Isles don't want a playoff spot. The Rangers (who play Florida tomorrow) may slip in after all. Fun game this afternoon...
