Well, the NHL has changed drastically in so many ways. Our teams have made some serious moves and they all seem to have a whole new chemistry.Based on what you know and what you've seen, which team will knock our socks off?!

i predict the NHL will go back to being the holding-hooking' boring NHL we've been accustomed to in the first 2 months of the season.
Only prediction i'm making, cuz if it comes true, i'm skipping the rest of the season.

How can you tell? Teams have made so many moves that no one can possibly know what their chemistry will be like until they actually take the ice. wink Having said that, I'll pass on this: look out for the Flyers.

Three things are certain in life after Dominik went to Detroit.
Death, Taxes, and the Sabres' slow start keeps them on the outside looking in come springtime.
9th place team in the East drops leading goal scorer and most talented defensman for zilch, picks up Teppo Numinen...I thinks I'll be scheming for better ways to doctor the Sabres ping pong balls by February. They sure didn't work this year.

Yep, they will be one of many teams that will do well. I really don't expect a huge change in how things were before the mess, to now, in so far as which teams will rise to the top. I will be watching the Wings for sure, because of my ex Chiefs Coach, Mike Babcock. It also looks like the Flyers will be a force to be reckoned with. I will be interested in seeing how Boston does as well, and of course Pittsburgh with all their new players.
In Canada, it will be intersting to see what the Sens do, how the Leafs fare, and if the Canadiens will be a force to be reckoned with.
As for the west, I will be watching and rooting for the Kings and of course the Flames, and it will be interesting to see how San Jose fares as well. I am so excited for this season!

I predict my beloved Bruins will continue to offer boring hockey with no chance of a playoff run, and wallet emptying prices.
I also predict that Pat Peake will suffer a freakish injury that incapacitates him for most of the year. I have no idea if he's still playing hockey, but I'm betting that happens whether he is or not.

Lets hope your wrong. I also love the Bruins. When I was a kid, it was Boston and Philadelphia that drew most, but not all of my attention. We'll see...

The only division I care too much about is the Central so here is my prediction of how it will end up:
1. Nashville
2. Detroit
3. Columbus
3. St. Louis
4. Chicago

I'm sorry but I do not see Nashville finishing in first place.Nope.

Well, it won't be Detroit and Columbus hasn't improved enough and St. Louis has fallen off too much. Chicago won't be a threat at all. That leaves one team to win the division. GO PREDS!

I don't know how astute he can be if he doesn't know Roman Cechmanek, whom he calls our goalie, isn't with the Kings anymore.

I didn't even pick up on that...I was mainly focused on his prediction, as you can imagine.
I also didn't know eddiecat was a stand-up comedian. That line about Detroit -- hilarious!
