What time zone does this new board live in? Greenwich Mean?
m1
Board time is GMT, but members should set their own time zone by following the instructions posted in How do I fix the time zone display? pinned at the top of the About the Board forum.

Dear Administrator,

I noticed there is this "warned" section near my profile info when I post. What does "warned" mean, and when was this added?

Thanks,

Millerbeach

Notice that your warning is 0%, as is everyone's. This is standard on the board and not sure if we need it. I hadn't really noticed before.

Thanks. I thought I was a marked man! By the way, your cat and my cat Chico could be twin brothers.

Okay, geniuses... smile.gif

1) I am trying to change my avatar. I tried just following the instructions to update the avatar. It still shows my old avatar. I tried deleting the old avatar first and then following the instructions to update the avatar. It still shows my old avatar, which is no longer even on my computer. I deleted it from the hard drive some time ago. I tried logging out, closing the browser and logging back in again. Then I tried the instructions again for updating the avatar. It still shows the old avatar!

2) When I logged out and logged in again, it kept saying there's no such member. Apparently the log-in system still refers to me as "FireCharlieManuelNow" and I had to log in using that. huh.gif

1) The feature that is supposed to re-scale avatar images to fit within the 90x90-pixel limit is the culprit. An image which is already 90x90 or smaller seems to upload with no problem.

The matter has been referred to the vendor's support desk, and this post will be updated once the problem is corrected.

Update: The Control Panel / Edit Avatar feature appears to be working properly again.

2) See Jim's explanation.

1) Still not working. The old avatar continues to show up. sad.gif

2) That explanation doesn't really answer my question. I am using my display name. But I changed the display name, and it still wants me to log in with the OLD display name. It's not really important as long as I don't log out again, or remember to use the FCMN name if I do have to log in. I just thought I'd point that out.
