I don't want to open the can of worms that is the advertising brouhaha, but I have a simple question with no implications regarding appropriateness and whatnot.

When the advertising first appeared, I changed my browser to not display images that originate on a different server. This worked to remove the eye-popping candy from the right hand column. Today there is one image (for Old Town Key West) that does appear, the rest remain suppressed.

Is there something different about Old Town Key West that makes this so? Is the image hosted by Outsports?

I only ask so that I don't waste time trying to change my browser settings.

No, it's on a different server, not ours. It is served slightly differently than the others (blogads is changing the way they do things). But, it is on a different server and is served by the same company as the rest. Sorry - please let us know what you find out!

Thanks for the information. I figured it out now. I had been blocking images.blogads.com. The image in question was coming from img.blogads.com.

I guess I should have just been smarter to begin with and block blogads.com.
