What a great trade for the Leafs - Tom Barrasso for a fourth round pick!!! Barrasso is still a solid goalie, and more importantly, he has Cup finals and Cup willing experience - something even Cujo doesn't have. Corey Schwab has been solid, and having Barrasso is added strength in goal. And the Leafs beat the Bruins last night!!!

And the Thrashers shut out the Avs!!! OK, Hockey Town it ain't here in "the ATL", but it is nice to get a win off such a good team (well, it's just nice to get a WIN!).

All in all, it has been an exciting past 24 hours! And more trades to come!!!

We got Slegr here for trade in Hockeytown. It's a good move. Slegr has experience under his belt, and is considered a vetran. With the unique blend the Red Wings have with vetrans, Slegr is gonna' do real fine. He'll fit right in with the "Greats" (i.e. - Stevie, Chelli, Shanny, etc.), but the freshness of the Wings' rookie meat like Datsyuk and Avery is gonna spur Slegr on also.

*sigh*...it's been a great season in Hockeytown...
