"Abominable" from whose point of view, a person sitting in his living room watching a broadcast through a camera that is about 20' or so off-center? I did find it amazing that FOX had that little rectangle trying to show whether pitches were balls or strikes. The one thing they never explained, and that box failed to take into account, was the fact that the ball was shown only where it "stopped," and oftentimes the ball would be outside the confines of the box; however, all the ball has to do is pass through the strike zone.
