It was a very interesting hour for sure. I agree with you. I think Oprah was definitely intimidated. I really do. I also felt like there were some "plants" in the audience, both pro and against him. There was one guy that was railing against him, some guy, remember him? I thought he was great! But, it was interesting hearing him trying to paint the portrait that your either one or the other kind of person, his traditionalist or secular progressive. Like there is no middle ground...period....your either one way or the other.. Sound familiar? "Your either with us or against us." The only area in which I agreed with him was when he said that much of the Iraq problem could be blamed on Bush. And as I recall he said the American people can hold the government responsible/accountable for this mess. The rest was all bullshit.

Oh, and I also firmly believe that he is contributing to this "culture war" that he says exists, even though he would deny this to the hilt!
