A show where absolutely nothing or no one is off limits, South Park dared to mock Steve Irwin this week.
Story here.I saw the episode and actually said out loud, "My God! That's just crass." But I laughed the whole time. I'm Roman Catholic and I even laughed when they showed a couple priests holding leashes attached to the necks of a couple naked little boys!
I guess, according to some, they crossed a line. Oh well...

I can't believe people are more upset about Steve Irwin than the priests with naked little boys on leashes and Jeffrey Dahmer screwing a corpse of a person he just butchered. I thought the Steve Irwin stuff was done with a lot of class because even Satan said it was too soon. And Steve wanted to be at the party but because he wasn't in costume he had to leave. I didn't mind it but I never really had any affection for the Croc Hunter in the first place.
Now Hitler dressed as the "Can you hear me now?" guy; THAT pissed me off.

The three murderers were funny, too.

Mayube those same whackjobs that killed a bunch of stingrays after Irwin died will now go after Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

Why should they? Stone and Parker are two creative guys who produce a funny show, one that it seems way too many people are taking seriously.

What the hell are you talking about? I was saying, sarcastically, that maybe those same idiots who have no lives and felt the need to seek vengeance for the death of Steve Irwin will now stupidly tuen their anger towards the South Park guys. Geez MIB.

In the "South Park" universe nothing is safe from satire- are some of their choices in questionable taste? Yes. Is it funny- Yes!

Nothing is sacred w/ S. Park & that's why I love it. It certainly is an adult cartoon, certainly not for children.

One of my all time favorite shows. And the movie is simply one of the funniest movies ever.

I think my implications were misinferred and made it seem like I was referring to you. That was not my intent. My apologies. I was intending to be more general.

Not to derail the topic but yeah within a week of Irwin's death about a dozen stingrays were found on an Austrailian beach slaughtered. No arrests were ever made that I know of, but obviously it was some crazed Irwin fan(s).

Maybe it was a mass suicide. Jewish guilt or something. Or maybe Catholic guilt.

I saw that cartoon and I was DYING!!! I loved it when Satan kicked out Steve Irwin since he was not wearing a costume.
I thoght people would be more offended by the naked boys on leashes. I guess not.

Well, as I said, I'm a Roman Catholic, and I found that funny. I tend to not be so hypersensitive.

The episode was hilarious. It did a good job of portraying those Super Sweet 16 girls that want everything for their parties, and whining non-stop. Being a Notorious BIG fan myself, I found the saying Biggie Smalls three times in the mirror to be quite funny.

As tasteless as all of their humor is, I never have found a show that makes me laugh outloud so much in a single episode.
The creators are brilliant and completely satirical. I applaud their boldness and I hope people can truly keep it as tongue in cheek humor. It is something that Satuday Night Live used to be known for but have lost the balls to do.

I saw the gag coming when someone told Satan "Someone is wearing a Steve Irwin costume", so I didn't find it too funny. Although I did laugh when he got thrown out for not wearing a costume.
The best part of that episode was the whole saga with Biggie Smalls. Oh memories of childhood and Bloody Mary.

You really can't get pissed off by South Park. Come on! They've been skewing EVERYONE for 10 seasons.
