Some of you may remember us posting about Dave, the 18-year-old Aussie who was having a rough time after being outed.

I've met him and have been hanging out with him the past three days. What a sweet guy. He's taken some pics we posted in our Gay Games gallery. I will write more about him when I get back. He sends his best to all those who wrote him a while back.

I realise I might be lat ein wriitng this but I only founf the web site today..
If Dave wants to email me that would be great.
It would be nice to help him out...

Thanks for the update, Jim....great to hear that Dave is doing well, considering all that he had to endure after being outed....hopefully Outsports has made a difference in his life and Dave is obviously a VERY strong young man to come through the way that he has....pass on our continued support and best wishes to our friend "down under".

Through Jim and Cyd, I found out that Dave really likes music. So Jim asked him what CD's he was interested in getting. He mentioned crap like the Strokes, the Hives etc. (H.A.T.E. the New Garage Rock thing) but I was able to burn for him things like Moby. I also made some cutsomized Best Of's for Hendrix, Cream, REM and The Smiths. Jim took them to Syndey.

I got the greatest e-mail from him, thanking me for burning the CD's for him. I was just so overwhelmed that doing something that I love--I love making my own Best Of's, trying to get the songs to flow together in a pleasing way--and is so easy to do could make him happy.

He needs to let his hair grow back though! He's got the skinhead look going on and it's not as hot as when he has a full head of hair.

Dave totally rocks.
