And its Gov. Vilsack of Iowa. Comments? Thoughts? I know little about him.

I dunno. The name President Vilsack sounds a little like a Ceylon from Battlestar Gallactia. Makes me nervous.

Well, my only thoughts are that at this point in 1974, nobody knew anything about former Gov. Jimmy Carter of Georgia. Or at this point in 1990, nobody knew anything about Gov. Bill Clinton of Arkansas. These guys sometimes come out of nowhere.

Funny. I was thinking something similar about President Obama - installed by a coup in a tiny African republic.
