* Yes I know this is a complete homer ranking. But after the Top 10 or so, it's all a toss up and BYU has been throttling its opponents the last eight weeks in a row. So I am taking a little homer license this week. smile.gif

Insert Louisville @7 and knock everyone else down a notch. Oklahoma and BYU drop out of the poll. Hell, Everyone makes mistakes. I'm glad I provided you an opportunity to point one of mine out. They are few and far between so savior the moment. Let me know when giddiness of this moment wears off, ok? smile.gif

Took note of the Louisville insertion in GymMountainEEr's list. That will be your official submission.

Still 24 hours to post your top 12 for those willing to participate.

Preliminary results show a tie for second place.

That would be a big problem if we published the BCS standings

Sure you have. Lets go back and review initial top 12 rankings from the 1st week and see how they stack up with today's polls. Morever, why don't we retrieve our favorite boy "richie" from Outsports and look at hsi pre season top 12 poll. If I remember correctly, Richie had Iowa #2 ( LOL), Pittsburgh #10 ( LOL), Notre Dame and WVU were not ranked, and some other over the top rankings. Aside being guilty of playful arrogance and a couple ( wink) mispellings, I am rarely wrong on sports issues smile.gif.

While I wait a little more to see if someone will break the tie for 2nd place in this week's top 12 to post the results, to entertain you for a moment, here is our pre-season top 12:

2. Notre Dame 100 points (1 first place vote)

No last minute votes so we have a tie for second place in this week's Outsports top 12.

1. Ohio State - 96 points with 8 first place votes
2. Michigan - 82
USC - 82
4. Florida - 74
5. Arkansas - 57
6. Notre Dame - 54
7. Louisville - 45
8. West Virginia - 39
9. Wisconsin - 32
10. Boise State - 27
11. LSU - 13
12. Rutgers - 9

Others receiving votes: Georgia Tech, Boston College, Texas, Auburn, BYU

In this week: LSU
Out: Wake Forest

Many teams moved one rank up with the drop of Rutgers from 4th to 12th. Added to the drop of Wake Forest, Wisconsin (from 11 to 9th) and Boise State (from 12 to 10th) move up two spots.

.....except the fact that you keep ranking WVU in the Top 10 or suggesting they are BCS-worthy. LOL.
