Amercian Family Association has called off its planned boycott of Wal-Mart stores beginning Friday. The conservative group has been upset over Wal-Marts support of diversity and gay rights issues. This is a powerful group. I hear of them often. Wal-mart now says it will much more careful about issues it supports.

In that case, I'll avoid Wal-Mart from now on. I can get all the items I need elsewhere. I don't need to support their caving in to pressure from other groups. My "gay" money can be spent in better places with better companies than Wal-Mart.
