Yahoo has just "upgraded" their straightforward, useful and easily-customized tv grid to make it slower, clunkier and annoying to the point of uselessness. It used to be one of my most-visited Web pages, but after ten minutes of struggling with the new design, I was outta there.

If you're in the same boat, let me recommend Zap2it, which really has improved the design of their listings grid. A few minutes of favorite channel setup and you're golden.

My only qualm is the lack of registration (which some will consider a plus). Check it out.

Thank you! Yes, after TVGuide.com got to be more than a little annoying, so I switched to Yahoo. Now that has gotten lamer and longer than TV Guide did. Thank you for the alternative.
