First it was Ashlee Simpson's hoe-down when she was caught lip-syncing on Saturday Night Live. Now, it was sister Jessica's turn to face public humiliation in a live performance.

She forgot the words to "9 to 5" while performing a tribute to Dolly Parton at the Kennedy Center Honors Sunday night and began to cry. It was unclear how she forgot the words since she had cue cards there alongside her showing the lyrics! Unbelievable.

The whole thing was filmed for a CBS Kennedy Centers Honors event to air later this month. I'm guessing we may never see what happened (unless it sneaks onto YouTube). Or will CBS have the guts to show the flub? That would be some delicious TV.

I think Dolly should've pulled Jessica aside and told her not to worry about. "Jessica darling, it's enough to drive you crazy if you let it." Hehe.

I wouldn't even be surprised if she needed directions to find the stage!

My understanding of what happened was that her dress had some kind of a problem. She was clutching it, because I guess she felt it was going to fall off, and this caused her a lack of concentration and to forget the words. This was how they explained it last night in a segment of "Scarborough Country", for what its worth.

So she pulled an Ashlee with the song and was about to pull a Tanya Harding because of the dress? I bet Nick's at home laughing his ass off.

I don't buy the 'I had to hold my dress up to keep it from falling off and that's why I forgot the lyrics' thing. Not when she was already using cue cards, which seems ridiculous to begin with. I'm sure it's dad Joe Simpson trying to spin it just like Ashlee had "acid reflux" the day after her SNL appearance, which forced her to lip-sync.

I just read that Jessica asked, "Can I have a do-over?" after the show. So after it was all over and the crowd had gone home, she performed the song again and CBS filmed it and will air that version on TV. How long before the original version pops up on YouTube or TMZ?

Does she actually have REAL talent, you know, the kind that a daddy can't make or market? I wish someone would put Jessica, Ashlee, Paris and her dopey sister, all out to pasture. Let them graze it up in peace. Also, toss in Britney, Lindsey, and any other drunken slut who thinks they have talent. If these are the idols for today's little girl, there are big problems ahead for women.

Me too! She's got a fantastic body (check her out in The Dukes of Hazzard) - not at all model thin but rather curvy and sexy. And her gorgeous blonde hair, and nice rack. Hot. I'd do her. Um...do I have to turn in my pink card? I'd rather do Nick, really!

Now Jessica has talked producers of the Kennedy Center Honors show into pulling her performance from the broadcast completely. And this was after CBS allowed her a second chance to perform the song '9 to 5' after the audience left. She must've really sucked the second time too.

It's hard to take either Jessica or her sister seriously as performers. Talk about unprofessional.

I'd take Nick, seriously!
