I've used these things since I was a kid--I love 'em! Well, until recently. For the last several months, I've noticed their quality has gone WAY down. They just suck! As soon as I put water in them, they wither and begin to fall apart. There's no more rigidity in them. I thought it might have been a bad package, but I have purchased them from Walgreen's, Wal-Mart, K Mart, even my food store over these past several months--same problem. I have to stick two together and double them up in order to use them, which means I'm using twice as many.
I don't know if anyone else uses these, but I DO know they're terrible now.
OK, enough of what is probably an inane topic.

To me 3 ounces is a tease. If I get up at night to get a glass of water, it's gonna be 12 - 16 ounces. A 3 ounce sip would just hurt my feelings. I actually didn't know they still made them but to each his own. I'm sorry they suck now but in all honesty, I'm not a big paper cup/paper plate/plastic fork kinda guy.

Heh, I haven't seen those for a while. My grandma had them at her house with a dispenser and everything. They were really nice when I was a kid, but as I got older they're really wasn't much use for them. I would have to fill it up three or four times to get enough water.

I thought those were only used for urine samples.

They still make those cups? Being an adult now, I outgrew those long ago. I don't even buy these cups for my nephews, even though they are in that small-child age range. Instead I have bought the 8-oz. cups for them, since they can get some milk or something else sweet that my siblings can deal with later (like fruit punch or soda).

They're still good for making Jello shots.

I always put a bottle of water next to my bed.

I can't believe hardly anyone uses these. There's a reason they're called bathroom cups. I use them in the bathroom: when I brush my teeth, when I take a pill or vitamin, etc. Regardless, they now suck.

I always need more than 3 oz. of water when taking a pill.

I'd make cherry jello shots, but I have this feeling that there's no one on this board
who even remembers cherries, theirs or anyone elses.

I stopped using them in a very tiny effort to cut down on paper waste, but the rest of my family still does. When i redid our bathroom with new fixtures, knobs, lights, etc., i attempted to find a nice wall-mounted dispenser to replace the 40-year-old plastic one we have, but it's the wrong decade for that search.

My parents put those 5-oz cups in our bathroom. When I went to my grandparents' house and saw the 3-oz ones, I felt cheated.

Now, when I take my pills at night, I pop them in my mouth, pour water in my cupped hands, and drink from that. Either it's a vain attempt to be more manly, or I'm just too damn lazy and cheap to go buy paper cups.
Probably a little from Column A, a little from Column B.

Oddly, we were just chatting about this today at work. I remember losing mine, as well. Not so fondly, but somewhat bemusedly.

I can think of an x-rated thing you could do with them. Ha!!

Hmmmm... 3oz.?
The last time I used one of these tiny cups was at the dentist when they had we swish and spit. I think a lot of guys on this board can swish and spit without the use of a Dixie cup.

I'm old enough to remember when Swish and spit would earn you $20.
However, in the orgy room at the tubs, swish and swallow got you laid every time.
