We will be in Boston for the weekend and have tickets to the Pops Christmas performance at Symphony Hall on Friday; and were thinking of going to either the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Wang Theatre or the Nutcracker at the Opera House on Saturday Night.

Has anyone been to either of these to make a recommendation for one or the other?

I have never seen either.

I haven't seen a the Pops Christmas performace but I have been to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City many times. Its a tradition in my family and I've been going since I was a kid. I took my boyfriend for the first time last year and it was so cute because he's so macho but was like a little kid taking in the show. It never gets old for me. My cousin was a Rockette for a few years in the early 2000s and boy they really put those girls through it preppin for that show. Its such a great program and really puts you into the spirit of the season. There's just nothing like it. So...I can only give you advice on the Christmas Spectacular but I'd highly recommend checking it out.
