I suffered through the first episode. Courtney Cox needs to fire her agent or whoever got her interested in this "show." FX can't be hurting THAT badly for new shows...can it? I can safely say it's probably one of the worst pilots I've ever seen. Gimmicks like lots of gratuitious nudity and Rick Fox getting a strap-on up his a$$ aren't going to save this trash from complete lack of coherent plot or silly one-liners masquerading as dialogue.
So I'm guessing Courtney and her husband used their clout to get this on the air, since they're executive producers of this crap, because there's no way anyone could have possibly watched this and thought it was quality TV. Maybe Courtney was so accustomed to it coming easy to her on Friends, that she took that little thing called
writing for granted...or her ego is so big...she thinks her star power is enough for even the worst TV has to offer, or that a vehicle just for her as the star can't fail. She should have learned these lessons that Matt LeBlanc learned the hard way.
I can't recommend enough that you skip this and do something constructive with that 1 hour you'd otherwise never get back. Ugh...
