Funny...people were saying just last week that Ohio State would kill Florida. It's weird the vast dichotomy of what you might expect and then what actually happens. Don't get in the way of a hungry underdog.

The national champion really should be the University of Northern Colorado. Sure, the Bears are a I-AA team, and their backup punter allegedly stabbed their starting punter and all that. Oh, and they finished 1-10 overall too. But I really think they should be the national champion.
Get this (and I always love these things when I see them...):
Northern Colorado's only win of the season was over Texas State. Texas State defeated Sam Houston State, which defeated Missouri State. Missouri State beat Western Illinois, which beat Northern Iowa, which beat South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits of South Dakota State beat UC-Davis, which in turn beat Sacramento State, which beat Eastern Washington. Eastern Washington -- as you all remember -- defeated Montana State, which waltzed into Boulder and defeated Colorado 19-10. The Buffs managed but two wins this season, one of which was against Iowa State. The Cyclones themselves defeated Missouri, which in turn beat Ole Miss. Ole Miss was a terrible team but did manage to squeak out a win against Vanderbilt. And those mighty Commodores turned around and beat Georgia, who on November 11 defeated Auburn. And we all know that Auburn beat Florida.
Whew. Thus, Northern Colorado is indeed the best team in the nation, despite playing in Division I-AA and finishing with a 1-10 record. Got that?

Boise State? Not. It's easy to beat a top team when you only have to do once a year; when they start doing it on a regular basis, then I'll rank them higher. Plus, I really do believe that Boise State would lose 8 out of 10 times if matched against the teams listed above.

I see Oklahoma got left out a lot of polls. Boise St did win by only 1 single point lol..
