Now that the first grand slam tournament of the year is over, we must move on to more serious, important matters. smile.gif

One of my friends is convinced that Roger has had a nose job. I was dubious until I did some online research and now I'm not so sure. What do you think?

It's possible, except that when would he have done this? He hasn't been injured and he's always playing ... don't you swell up and get all black-eyed from having a nose job? What's the recovery time?

I think he's matured into his face and gotten into better shape, so his face looks more chiseled and less round. It could also have alot to do with camera angles. That said, if he did have a nose job, I can hardly blame him. And he got a good one. Nice nose yet he still looks enough like himself to inspire the did he/didn't he debate. I mean, it's not like he pulled an Ashlee Simpson and looks like a completely different person!! laugh.gif

Isn't a very good nose job, if that is the case. But...who cares? Roger is adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think his face is just changing a bit as he matures.

Surely it would be too risky for an athlete like Fedderer, as such, to have nose surgery in case it affected his breathing.

On the same subject.... what is it with the British and their teeth?? Murray has apalling teeth and Tim Henman could do with a trip to the orthodontist too.

Xanthos, there was a multiple question in, I think, a Cracker Jack box, asking what percentage of the English have lost at least 25% of their teeth by the age of 21. It was a shockingly high amount. Maybe it's all that tea with milk -- dissolves the enamel or something.

As for Roger -- there's no way he had a nose job.

I think he definitely had a nose job. He could have had the time to get it done at some point. He's not playing tennis 365 and a nose job doesn't take much recovery time. It could have been done very privately. Roger Federer isn't exactly a guy that the paparazzi is chasing so I don't see why this couldn't have happened without much need for secrecy. That nose is definitely different. I don't care how much your face changes over the years. The old nose used to touch his upper lip. Now its thinning and looks lifted more. I saw more power to him. I have no problem with plastic surgery as long as its not to the extreme.
