The Washington Renegades will be hosting RenFest 2007: Scrum on the Potomac on Saturday, May 19 in Washington, DC.
RenFest 2007 will be a harlotfest 15s tournament and clinic, mixing up IGRAB players from all over to have a weekend of fun, camaraderie and rugby.
We're encouraging all East Coast IGRAB teams/players to come and spend a weekend in Washington, D.C. during the best weather of the year. All IGRAB rugby players are encouraged to come and play, regardless of affiliation. This is also a great alternative for guys on the East Coast not attending Seattle's West Coast Magnitude tournament which is on the same day. Please save the date now, and add it to your team’s schedule. We're planning for enough players for 6 complete sides. Teams and/or individuals are encouraged to come.

Friday night:
Welcome party at Woof (at Titan's Ramrod)
Saturday morning:
Skills clinic with expert coaching (rucking, mauling, scrums, backfield play)
Lunch
Saturday afternoon:
Round-robin harlot-fest

The details:
Cost: $40, including playing rugby jersey, T-shirt, and post-tourney social. (late registration $60 after April 15th). On-site registration will be available.
Location: Gravelly Point Park - overlooking the beautiful Potomac River in Arlington, VA. (Metro-accessible)
Hotel: Currently negotiating discounted rates with hotels. (Although hotels are pricey that weekend, so you might want to check Expedia, Hotwire, Priceline or Hotels.com)
Travel: Currently negotiating discounted rates with airlines, but get your plane tickets now.
We're currently working on our registration page, which will be done online. We'll keep you posted as to when the page goes live.
