Lately I have had problems when it comes to closing out. About 90% of the time now,I get stallouts, and/or end up having to hit control/alt/delete to end the program, and get send error messages to Microsoft etc. etc. I can't quite figure this out. I suspect something is running in the background which prevents a closeout....any suggestions or recommendations???? Thanks.....this just started within the past 2 weeks....and I am stumped........

A few recommendations for you, hockeyTom:

1. Defragment your hard drive
2. Check your hard drive for errors

That might help. I suspect that may be a part of it but not all of your problem.
