I heard about this guy, and I watched his video on Logo. He's okay, not one of my top favorites. Considering I am a big hip-hop fan, I'll wait and see if he comes out with a song that I like.

Let us know John. Not a rapper or hip-hop fan here, but thought this guy's story was interesting.

Luke is a great guy. I used to chill with him back when he was in Moreplay and worked / lived in the Boston area. I just saw him with Amanda Lapore awhile ago and it was pretty funny / amusing / etc.

Cazwell has a new song out. I really like it. It is throwback 80s rap. It is a fun little song. Watch My Mouth is the name of the song.

Does it matter?

Yeah, would I put it in the league with Jay-Z or Biggie, no, not at all. For the fun fluff that it is, I like it. Would I buy it? No. I put it in the category with most of Fergie's songs. It entertains me.

I'll support him because he's black and gay, but from what I can see, there's nothing too special here. What about the D/DC, (who used to be) based out in Oakland? I met Juba, and they are for-real rappers and artists.

Is Cazwell black?

You sure could have fooled me!

Uh, you know, from that video I just assumed he was very light skinned--verrrrrrry-light skinned, like, oh, say Wellington Miller, but looking at him on Google photos, I see he's as white as, well, Eminem!

And he's obviously gay...so yeah, go gay rapper. That "Watch My Mouth" song is pretty bad. Horrible, actually.

Whatever he is,I hate that video but then I never cared for rap,either.
I wonder if his CDs actually are selling.

Cazwell is hosting "New Now Next" on Logo on Sunday at midnight (with repeats during the week). What a show -- going from Annie Lennox to this guy in just 2 or 3 weeks.
