There is a benefit for Ron Bluemke. Ron is a personal trainer here in the Twin Cities over almost 30 years. He and his wife have trained many people in the GLBT community for numerous Gay Games and other GLBT events.

In October, he went in for prostate surgery. While he was in surgery, he suffered a stroke from a tiny hole in his aorta. Since then, he's been fighting to get back to his relative normal self.

So, on March 20th from 2-5p, there will be a benefit for Ron at Boom! There will be a $10 donation at the door and a silent auction to help Ron and his family out duiring this time.

If any of you Twin Cities guys and gals know Ron, please come out. It will be a good time and it's for a great cause for a great man.

I bet if they auctioned off a date with this guy they could raise a nice sum of money!

I hear that he is pretty expensive. tongue.gif

It would be for a good cause. Besides, I'm sure he's worth every penny. biggrin.gif

Seriously though, if any of you Twin Cities homos or former TC homos that know Ron, I hope to see you at Boom!

I had a great time at the benefit Sunday afternoon. $12,000 was raised for Ron and his family. Ron looked great and gave everyone a huge hug.

Seeing him with his wife and they are going through such a hard time right now and how much love they have for each other makes me wish that someday I will meet someone who will love me just as much as they do for each other. smile.gif

Ron has to have surgery on his heart to fix the tiny hole in his aorta soon. I keep praying for him and his family.

I know many of you really don't care, but if you want to check it out, here is Ron's website.
