... darkhorse to win it all this year. the only thing that's holding them back is the phoenix suns. hopefully another team will knock nash and his cute arse out. our starting point, rafer, doesn't know up from down... much less nash from ridnour. smile.gif health isn't an issue in the postseason. tmac and yao WILL be ready. y'all will remember "chuck" hayes this year like y'all remembered "chuck"y brown in '94-'95 (second championship).

rox forever. nuff said.

the time for pwnage has come. i'm stoked for the first game here in houston. i'll be there decked out in all rockets red with a group of about 105 clutchfans (biggest pro basketball forum). will post pix later.

rockets haven't won a playoff series in a looong time. would you/they be happy with taking out utah and then meekly going away in the second round?

it's about time that i become more active on this board.

to answer your question... no. as you said, it's been a "looong" time since we've won a series. since rockets management has instilled the "win now" mode (trading rudy gay for battier) into the fans' head, then i'm going to hold them to that.

we owe utah one for stockton hitting that jumper in the late 90's to eliminate us. we'll owe dallas one in the second round for coming back on us after leading 2-0 a couple of years ago.

it's do'able.

now if someone would knock off those pesky suns beforehand. rebounding kills the suns, but not sure if their hc (d'antoni... or something like that) has the ability to change their style mid-series. it'll be interesting.

That fizzing sound you hear is the slow deflation of the NBA's China market for the 2006-7 playoff season.

No Yao Ming in the playoffs = significantly reduced interest from Chinese fans.
