Hello to everyone. I just wanted to drop a note to these boards since the description does mention local clubs. Hotlanta Soccer is the gay men's soccer team, currently playing in the Atlanta Silverbacks 7 v 7 league. We have currently reached some of the largest participation numbers in our history, and are about to add a third team to our ranks. To that end, if you're local, we'd love to have you with us! We currently practice on Saturday's at Piedmont Park, starting at 11:30. Our games are every Wednesday night, and we love spectators. You can get more information at www.hotlantasoccer.com.

One more note is that we are holding the Hotlanta Soccer Classic over Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-27. This will be an 11 v 11 mens tournament with 8 teams. If you're just looking to come show support, the event is free, and being held at our newly renovated Piedmont Park and we'd love the support! Hello to all the soccer fans out there!

I just wanted to give an update of the Hotlanta Soccer Classic. Several people have contacted me based on this posting, so thanks for taking the time to read the announcements on here! We currently have seven teams registered, and are ready to go. As a pre-party weekend, Mojito Restaurant will kick off the tournament week with a Margarita & Mojito afternoon on May 20th. Later that week, The New York Ramblers, San Francisco Spikes, San Diego Sparks, Florida Storm, and Hotlanta Soccer all arrive in Atlanta will be ready to kick it all off on Friday, May 25th. We've gotten a lot of help from local sponsors which will help make the weekend unforgettable. Friday starts off with a party at Blake's on the Park, which will lead to all day play at Piedmont Park on Saturday. The Team dinner will be held at Mojito Saturday night, and tickets are available to the public for $35.00. Tournament rounds will start early Sunday with the awards ceremony Sunday afternoon.

We encourage anyone in Atlanta to visit us at Piedmont Park and support gay soccer. Attendance is free.

We're still looking for players!!! If you're a soccer player of any skill lever, there is still a chance you can play. Several teams are looking to pick up players, and there could still be a spot if you have a full team. If you have a team or partial team, there is still room. Contact us today!
