I've been watching the rhetoric coming from Matthew Dowd, Bush's former campaign strategist, for a few weeks now and it seems as though he has made some enemies in the White House with his fiery words. In particular, I like that he's taken a stand against his former boss and that he's firmly against the war, which is seeing his son deployed there.
It would seem that Dowd has lost his faith in the Bush presidency after being a lifelong Democratic strategist. Sadly, not only is his faith gone but that of a great many Americans.
So, now that he's turned up his nose at Bush, for whom he switched allegiances, I cannot help but wonder this one question: Is he telling the full truth or just trying to get back at his former boss? Turncoat or truth teller?
